How to randomly divide people into teams
Random teams are a quick way to avoid cliques and keep things fair. Use the random team generator to do it in seconds.
1. Collect names
Enter every name, one per line. You can paste a list copied from a spreadsheet or document.
2. Choose team size or count
Decide how many teams you want, or set a fixed number of players per team.
3. Generate and adjust
Click Generate. If the split looks uneven, shuffle again or lock a few players in place.
Tips for balance
- Remove people who should not be on a team first.
- Lock one strong player per team if skill matters.
- Communicate the result clearly so nobody is left out.
